I started the "After the Rain" series following the COVID-19 lockdown, a time when we came to understand just how near death could be and how fragile and dispensable we are as a species. These photographs capture a post-lockdown reconnection with nature, but also with our fundamental values and roots. A contemplative approach where I seek to be fully present with my surroundings, absorbing everything around me before releasing the shutter.
